Looks good for AV-ing a ball!

After a year out, AV Network, based in Danbury Court, Linford Wood East, has returned as the audio visual sponsor for the Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards.

Tim English, the company’s operations director, says the Oscar-style ceremony on October 20 in Double Tree by Hilton at stadium:mk is “right up our street”. AV Network has been based in Milton Keynes for 23 years – relocating to new larger premises in 2008.

The company’s 15 employees and a network of freelances work with clients like BP, Castrol, Trader Media Group and Citroen and take their messages all over the world. They get to know the DNA of a company, to find out exactly what they want to put across and use technology to do that.

Mr English added: “We know our technical delivery has to be flawless, clients need complete confidence in our kit and our technical expertise, but we always start by talking about the reason for the conference or awards event and the communication drivers behind it more than what physical kit might be needed.”

Although AV Network travel all over the world they also have big clients at home, too. NHBC, Audi, Mercedes-Benz and the new Kavli Centre at Chicheley Hall are all customers.

AV Network has expanded its stock of staging, sets and high-end audio-visual hire equipment, and they’ll be using it to effect on October 20. Mr English said: “We love working in the Double Tree by Hilton and have some great plans for the evening to really showcase the best of Milton Keynes business – after all, that is what we do.” And he encouraged businesses to get involved.

Mr English said: “We all know a great awards night boosts the feelgood factor but AV Network is about the look-good factor, too! I would encourage businesses to join in this fabulous celebration by getting nominations in now.”
