Overstone Combined School and Pre-School have recently benefitted from the partnership that has been created with Grundfos, who have offices based in Leighton Buzzard.

Overstone Combined School and Pre-School have worked closely with Leighton Buzzard based company, Grundfos, to recently update their changing rooms. Through a grant from the company, Overstone have improved the changing room facilities, as well as putting a new kitchen into the staff room. The final phase of the project is planned for the new year when the accessible toilet space will be improved. Managing Director, Glynn Williams, and Victoria Mulford, Operations Manager, were joined by Headteacher, Kirsty Eales, Governor, Dave Varey, and some of the children to open the new changing rooms. "We are immensely proud of the partnership with Grundfos," notes Mrs Eales, "as these updated spaces around the school will benefit all of our pupils and staff." Over the last year, Grundfos has also worked with the oldest children in the school on a 'Dragons Den' style young enterprise project which included a visit to their offices in Leighton Buzzard. This exciting opportunity for the children will continue as the collaboration between Overstone and Grundfos goes from strength to strength.
