"Do not give out any personal details without first checking with the Task Force or CBC. If you are able to go online then go to the contact page at www.leightonlinsladehelpers.org.uk or the Facebook page at www.facebook.com/groups/llhelpers."

The Task Force comprises representatives from faith, the community, homeless service, town council and Bedfordshire and Luton Emergency Volunteer Executive Committee. It is operating well with volunteers busy helping the community.

It is sending out 40 to 60 food parcels and collecting over 60 prescriptions each week. Donations of food (tinned dried or fresh) and personal/sanitary items are still needed. Morrisons have a place set aside where the public can leave donations. Local Scout huts are also accepting donations, or collection can be arranged by contacting the Task Force.
