Age dropped and longer routes added for Cycletta 2012

Cycletta have added longer challenge routes to their seven events around the country, and reduced the minimum age for participants from 18 to 16.
As well as the classic 40km Cycletta distance, there are routes varying between 55km and 80km depending on the event.

Hide AdCycletta ambassador and Olympic Gold Medallist Victoria Pendleton said: “The joy of the Cycletta events is they are great for so many types of cyclists. I did it last year (twice) and loved it but there were so many nervous first–timers. I spoke to lots of them at the end and they said what a great experience they’d had which was really inspiring. This year Cycletta offers a range of different distances so ‘event day’ will be even more fun.”

To celebrate the minimum age being reduced from 18 to 16, Cycletta are offering mother and daughter participants the chance to win a cycling jersey signed by Victoria.
Victoria said: “Nothing beats cycling with family. Good luck.”
Cycletta Bedfordshire is taking place at Woburn Abbey on May 13, with 40km and 60km distances.
