Afternoon tea raises hundreds for flood victims

An afternoon tea raised over £600 for the flood victims of Cumbria on Sunday, February 14.

Jean Ball MBE organised the charity lunch with her husband David at Church House, Tilsworth.

She said: “The afternoon tea went extremely well, raising £675 from entries and kind donations from many.

“We would like to thank Waitrose for their contribution towards the food, Tilsworth Church House for rent free premises and Ingrid and others for their help and support.”
