Bumper draw for hospice lottery
This year’s Keech Hospice Care Christmas lottery raised a record-breaking £49,000 – the biggest ever.
It was drawn at 12.12pm on December 12 and the lucky winner of the £2,012 top prize comes from Dunstable.
The ticket was drawn by hospice patient Walter Bartlet, 72, from Caddington.
He said: “It’s a real buzz to know I’ve helped contribute to making someone’s Christmas that little bit more special.”
