'˜Cheat map' reveals how many people are being unfaithful in Bedfordshire

How many adulterers are there in Bedfordshire? Well now we know after the UK’s leading dating website for married people, have created the Infidelity Index, revealing the amount of adulterers, and the most adulterous towns.

IllicitEncounters.com compiled the figures based on the geographical data of their 1 million + members.

Luton is the town with the most adulterers in Beds, with 1,168 married people being unfaithful, beating Sandy, with 939.

In third place is Bedford with 858 adulterers, while Biggleswade is the least adulterous town in the region, with just 386 adulterers.

Leighton Buzzard was fourth with 835 cheaters.

While Bedford is the third most adulterous town in the region with 858 adulterers, it is in fact the 42nd most adulterous town in the UK, based on the amount of adulterers relative to its population; 0.98% of its entire population are cheating.

The overall standings saw High Wycombe crowned the most adulterous town in the UK, sporting the highest relative percentage of cheaters (2.12%).

Illicit Encounters spokesman Christian Grant said: “More and more people are signing up to the site every year.

“The reason for the surge in subscriptions is that record numbers of married couples in Bedfordshire are living together unhappily because they simply cannot afford to divorce.

“Spiralling house prices and living costs have made it financially impossible for couples to set up two homes following a split, so they struggle on while seeking excitement elsewhere.”
