Appeal for witnesses after Butcher's shop vandalised in Eaton Bray

Police are investigating after a shop was vandalised in Eaton Bray on Saturday, March 14.

Officers were called at 7.36am to a report that windows has been smashed at Browns Butchers, High Street, in Eaton Bray, on Saturday.

Ali Brown, store manager, is appealing for the public's help, he said: "It happened around midnight, they got in through a back garden and have smashed the windows.

"They tried to break in to the shop but luckily they were unable to and nothing was taken.

"If anyone knows anything about what happened please get in touch and let the police know.

"They avoided the CCTV but hopefully someone saw or heard something.

"W had to close the store for most of the day on Saturday while we cleaned everything up and got the windows sorted."
