Police hunt Leighton Buzzard man who failed to show up a court
Police are hunting for a wanted man who failed to show up at court to be sentenced for fraud offences.
Johnny Ward, also known as Jonathan Leaver, 24, of Leighton Buzzard, is described as around 6ft 1ins with dark blonde wavy hair.
It is believed he may have links to the northeast of the country.
Detective Sergeant Ann Ward said: “Ward was due in court to be sentenced on 16 January and failed to appear. After following several lines of enquiries, we are now appealing for the public’s help in locating him.
“We are urging anyone who may have information about Ward’s whereabouts to get in touch."
