Robber who struck three times gets three years in jail
Scott Wilson, 38, was convicted at Luton Crown Court on Thursday for raids on two bookmakers and a petrol station. He was sentenced to three years in prison.
Wilson, of Kilgour Court, off Bassett Road, first struck with another man at BetFred, in Wing Road, Linslade, on November 8. They got away with a quantity of cash.

Hide AdThen on November 12, Wilson stole cash from Corals in North Street, Leighton Buzzard.
On November 15, the Shell petrol station in Leighton Road, Linslade was targeted with cash and cigarettes stolen.
Wilson pleaded guilty to two charges of robbery and asked for one charge of robbery to be taken into consideration.
Following the case’s conconclusion, Det Con Scott Hannam, investigating officer, told the LBO: “Robbery is a key priority for the force and we’re pleased that in this case justice has been done and that the offender will serve a significant custodial sentence.
“These were nasty robberies of business premises, something that absolutely won’t be tolerated, and I’d like to thank everyone that helped us catch and jail the person responsible.”
