Blackfriars Tube back on line for rail passengers
BLACKFRIARS Tube station reopened on Monday, giving passengers on the Thameslink route from Bedford to Brighton direct access to the District and Circle lines.
Lifts and escalators from street level connect to wider platforms on the tube below.
Blackfriars closed in 2009 for major redevelopment, part of the Thameslink Programme to increase capacity across London.
