Help perfect pair lead Beds to glory

HAVING come out on top at the inaugural Mr Bedfordshire competition, Leighton lad Dean Dibsdall now hopes to go one better and triumph at the Mr England competition later this month.

Dean, who is a farrier at Stewkley Stables when he’s not charming judges, will go head to head with 15 other hunks for the chance to represent England at the Mr Universe competition – but he needs our help.

As well as a range of sporting, charity and catwalk rounds to decide who truly is the nation’s lushest lad, there is also a popularity round where the public can text in and vote for their favourite fella.

And after meeting his fellow contestants at the Mr England bootcamp last week, the 27-year-old thinks he has as much a chance as anyone of walking away with the crown.

Dean told the LBO: “We certainly got put through our paces, but I certainly didn’t feel overwhelmed by it all so we’ll see how things turn out on the day.
