Leighton Buzzard Community Fire Station said: "Our co-responders have just returned back to station following attending a Category 1 medical emergency in the town. Co-responding is a skill our on-call firefighters took on during the pandemic to support East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust. They continue to support them daily to ensure that the most time critical patients get lifesaving treatment as soon as possible."
