Lots to look forward to in the town
Living History will comprise five days of historical happenings in town centre hostelries.
Efforts are being co-ordinated by the council, Leighton Buzzard & District Historical and Archaeological Society, landlords and a creative events manager.

Hide AdThere will be a raft of both daytime and evening events with a designated day for children.
Where possible, scenery, props and re-enactors will be used to recreate factual historical stories at individual pubs.
Others will offer traditional games, fiddlers and storytellers to encourage visitors on historical pub crawls.
The Christmas Festival weekend is scheduled from December 2 - 4.

Hide AdOrganisers are tweaking the usual format following disappointed comments last year that there was nothing to do after the official switching on of festive lights.
There are proposals to stage a full programme of live Christmas entertainment on stage for the duration, alongside the traditional Christmas market and firework display.
