Motorcyclist from Leighton Buzzard killed in collision

A 26-year-old man from Leighton Buzzard was killed in a tragic collision while riding his motorcycle in Stanbridge.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident, which happened at around 10.30pm on Thursday, March 31.

The motorcyclist was travelling east on Leighton Road, Stanbridge, along the section between Leighton Buzzard and the rugby club, when control was lost and he collided with a fence.

The rider died at the scene.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw a blue Honda CBR1100 Super Blackbird motorcycle in the area at the time or anyone who stopped afterwards to offer help.
