Campaign offering coats for kids in Leighton Buzzard and Dunstable
Coats for Kids Leighton Buzzard and Dunstable aims to provide children with a warm coat this winter.
As the weather gets colder, people are being urged to give away their unused and unwanted coats to someone who is a much greater need of it.

“The hardest part has not been getting people to donate but letting those in need know about us.
“It would be easy to take coats to the charity shop but we want to get them out to people direct and fast, ready for wear.”
Vicky and a friend are storing the coats in their garages and have so far collected more than they expected. They are relying on volunteers to help deliver the garments and welcome any additional support in this capacity.

“We will be doing this until they are all gone,” said Vicky.
“We can’t do much, but we can make your children warm.
“Upon arrival we don’t want to see bank statements, it’s a free service we are providing. It doesn’t matter if you have a Range Rover on the drive, there’s no judgement, you have asked for help so you will get it.”
