Car boot kitchen brings pizza fresh to your doorstep thanks to Leighton Buzzard business
A Leighton Buzzard businessman is bringing his pizza kitchen right to your doorstep.
Paul Benfeito, of Amore Pizzeria, Hockliffe Street, has fitted a kitchen into the back of his Tesla Model S – and is hitting the road to serve weddings, shows, and private, corporate and community events.

Paulo unveiled his new car on the High Street on Saturday, October 17, and with a social media countdown for customers.
He said: "I wanted to bring proper, freshly made pizza to people wherever they are, not just to the ones who can come to Hockliffe Street.
"So I built a kitchen into the back of the Tesla.
"We pull up, open the boot and make the pizzas right there, fresh for your event.
"I think it's a unique service, and I can't wait to bring it to offices, weddings and parties around Leighton Buzzard and beyond."
Paulo's compact car kitchen includes an Italian-made electric pizza oven – powered by the Tesla's battery.
Pizza boxes are stored next to the ventilation, which keeps them warm, and there's a prep area that folds away when not in use.
And for health and safety, there's an all-important fire extinguisher.
Paulo said: "Most event pizza comes from a trailer, a van or a takeaway delivery. Amore's version fits into the boot of an electric family saloon – and because the oven runs off the car's battery – there's no generator to bring along.
"Customers get pizzas made fresh where they are, by the same team behind the Hockliffe Street restaurant, without the space a catering trailer needs."
