Fun packed children's festival comes to Leighton Buzzard's Pages Park in August
A fabulous festival aimed at Under 10s – which had to be cancelled in April because of saturated ground – will now be rolling into town later this summer.
Funtopia – which boasts a 110 ft giant inflatable obstacle course, as well as role play areas, water fights and giant bubble making activities – will be at Pages Park from 11.30am – 5pm on Thursday, August 3.

Director Sarah Green said: “We were so disappointed that we had to cancel our event earlier this year. The grounds were just too wet.
"We can’t wait to finally be visiting Leighton Buzzard this summer.”

The festival features an hour-long autism friendly session at the start of the day. Numbers are limited but tickets can be bought in advance from www.facebook.com/funtopiauk
Event manager Sam Harrison said: “They’re specifically designed to allow children with autism the opportunity to visit Funtopia in a more relaxed and suitable setting. These children can often be forgotten and we hope they’ll be popular with the local community.”
Funtopia has various role play areas including a farmyard, a construction zone and the Cozy Coup Car Club.
In addition there are sumo suits, stage shows, character meet and greets and an Under Fives area with inflatables, soft play and exciting items to ride on.
Visitors are encouraged to join in the Picnic in the Park – refreshments will be on sale all day.
There’s no need to book and admission to all the activities is included in the price of entry which is based on height – under 90cm free, over 90cm £10 and adult tickets are £2.50 each.
