The fun design became the official Center Parcs Woburn Forest Christmas card and Max was “over the moon” that it was printed.

Max’s mum, Nikki, said: “I told Max about the competition and he couldn’t wait to design a card, and his sister, Sofia, aged five, did too.

“The first thing that entered his mind was Santa on the rapids, as that’s Max’s favourite thing to do whenever we have been to Woburn forest. He liked the idea that Santa would also find them fun!”

As the winner, lucky Max was invited to Center Parcs to see their light display and meet Father Christmas.

Nikki added: “Max’s favourite part was the new light trail at the Santa woodland village.

“He thought the elves were extremely funny. He also told Santa that he drew him on the front of the card going down the rapids, and Santa found this very amusing.

“Max has always enjoyed writing stories and has a great imagination.”
