Leighton Buzzard chorister on song as he makes BBC final

Alexander Olleson, 14, of All Saints Church Choir, produced a stunning performance in the semi-finals which were shown on BBC1 on Sunday.
All Saints director of music Paul Dickens said: “We are thrilled that Alexander performed so well in the semi-final. He was first on and seemed to take it all in his stride.”

Hide AdOne of the judges had this to say “I’ve just written down Wow”. Other judges were impressed with his intonation and breath control.
Alexander himself said: “I really enjoyed myself. It’s been fun, but a little bit nervous as well. If I win, it would be amazing. I’ve been a chorister for five years so it would feel almost like the pinnacle of that ladder.”
Mr Dickens added: “There are some superb singers in the final, three girls and two other boys, all of whom sang really well, so the competition is hotting up.”
The final will be broadcast on BBC1 on Sunday, December 6 at 1.15 pm.
