Leighton Buzzard man dressed as Judge Dredd helps raise hundreds for Comic Relief

Did you see Judge Dredd in Leighton Buzzard on Red Nose Day?

A man from Leighton Buzzard spent Red Nose Day (Friday) dressed up as Judge Dredd to raise money for Comic Relief.

Steve Bennett decided to wear his Judge cosplay all day on Friday, March 19, and asked others to do the same. This year, the money raised for Comic Relief will go towards tackling issues such as homelessness and will support people facing abuse and mental health issues. On Saturday, over £52,025,485 had been raised for Red Nose Day.

Steve dressed as Judge Dredd on the school run to Brooklands Middle School and Vandyke Upper School and popped to Morrisons and Tesco.

He also shared photos of other Judge Dredds who were supporting the fundraising.

Steve said: "So far we have raised £200, the donations go directly to Comic Relief and we are still hoping to raise more money."
