Founder of Gazza Records, Gary Ison, would like to thank his “fantastic customer base” for the support they have offered during the pandemic, as despite being closed for seven of its first 12 months of trading, the shop has proved popular due to its relaxed atmosphere and residents have “really engaged” with its free Leighton Buzzard delivery service.
Gary said: “We have been visited by celebrities including the piano player from pop band Keane and we are planning a great outside music event for when this Covid thing eventually eases or clears!

Gary hopes that soul singer Danny Toeman will be able to perform at The Crooked Crow Bar on May 5. He is also planning to run gig events by minibus to London next year, including to the International Ska and Reggae Festival.
Recognising key workers, Gary added: “We have been offering a 10 per cent discount for all NHS staff and teachers since the March 2020 lockdown.”
