'Loss felt deeply': Woburn Safari Park announces death of wolves Tala and Akela
Staff at Woburn Safari Park have paid tribute after the death of two wolves.
Siblings Tala and Akela have been "peacefully put to sleep" after developing conditions that were "beginning to profoundly affect their quality of life".

The annoucement was made on social media today (June 16), with keepers feeling the loss "deeply".
A Woburn Safari Park spokesman stated: "After thoughtful discussion and a thorough veterinary assessment, the decision was made to let them go to spare them unnecessary pain and discomfort.
"Brother Akela and sister Tala were big characters at Woburn, with Akela's gentle and shy nature in contrast to Tala's brave and adventurous spirit.
"Their loss is felt deeply by the teams who cared for them. We say thank you to our keepers, at this difficult time, for helping them live long, full lives."
