Talented singer songwriter from Leighton Buzzard to release debut single
A budding singer songwriter from Leighton Buzzard who’s pursuing a music career is set to release her debut single.
Phoebe (Bee) Hanley, aged 22, started writing songs when she was 15 before auditioning and attending a music school in Shoreditch when she was 18.
Since then she has been writing songs for other artists but is now releasing her own music with an EP set to be released later this year and her debut single ‘Back To You’ coming out on May 22.
“I am currently wrapping up my debut music,“ said Bee, “and I have an EP set to be released this year. My debut single 'Back to You' is coming out on May 22

“I grew up in the area and and since attending a music school in Shoreditch have been writing songs for other artists but now I am releasing my own.
“Although my single isn't out yet it was track of the week and one of last year’s, end-of-year favourites on BBC introducing.
“This is my first solo release as a first-time artist and I need as much support as I can get, especially from my home town.”
Bee is described professionally as a London-based Pop artist, ‘redefining the genre with her honest lyrics, epic vocals and captivating performances’. The singer-songwriter has already made waves selling out Camden Assembly and gracing the stage at Latitude Festival.
Inspired by the likes of Adele and Raye, Bee attended the Access Creative institute in Shoreditch, but is no stranger to theatrics, drawing inspiration from her background in musical theatre.
Having spent the last two years writing for international artists, Bee says she’s now ready to make her mark on the music scene and all set to release her debut EP with a ‘bold new perspective on Pop’.
