Test drive an electric car at Central Bedfordshire 'Be Green Go Electric' event
Central Bedfordshire residents have the chance to try green technology at a special event in Leighton Buzzard.
Visitors will be able to sit in and test drive electric cars, explore e-bikes, find out about EV charging at home and in the area, and get advice on solar panels and heat pumps.
You can also find out about grants and ways to save money on energy – and discover ways to reduce carbon emissions from your business.
The free event will be held in Leighton Buzzard Market Square on Friday, October 2, from 10am until 3pm.
A Central Bedfordshire Council spokesman, said: "Fancy trying an electric car? Curious about e-bikes or ways to cut your energy bills?
"There’ll be local businesses, organisations and experts on hand to answer your questions – whether you’re ready to make a change or simply curious about what’s available."
If you would like to take an electric car for a test drive, please register online.
