All General Election campaigning has been suspended as a mark of respect to the victims.

The May 23 husting had been scheduled to take place at Cedars Upper School from 7.30pm, featuring the five candidates for South West Beds.

A spokesman for organisers Leighton Linslade Churches Together, told the LBO this morning: “We are in the process of emailing out to cancel this evening and will try to re-arrange if we can get sufficient candidates together later.”
