Promoting local talent at open mic
Spokesman Phil Wilkinson said: “We’re having another open mic evening at Leighton Buzzard library at 7.30pm on Tuesday, March 21.
“They usually go off well and anyone who feels they have something worth a read is welcome to come along - and we also welcome those who would just like to listen.”

“If you haven’t been for a while, or have some friends who would like to come, bring them along.
“We’re expecting some other writing groups to join us for the evening.
“But if you’d like to read, please let us know a few days before so a running order can be established - plan for about five minutes or between 500 and 900 words, depending on your speed.”

They’re putting their next anthology together with stories centred round the Leighton Buzzard area.
Submissions should be no more than 3,000 words – or a page of poetry – with an uplifting and inspirational theme.
According to Phil, laugh out loud funny would be good, but not essential.
