Somme remembered at Rushmere Country Park
The event - at Rushmere Country Park - raised funds for World Horse Welfare and the Blue Cross.
The winner of the Best Turned Out Horse and Rider was two-year-old Grace Howson sporting Union Jack colours. She was presented with a special rosette by Major Will MacGill.

Hide AdThere were also awards for the most donations collected by a single rider, the youngest rider and oldest horse.
All those participating received rosettes commemorating the Horse in War 1914-1918.
A field of 60 entered the 10 mile fun ride through the beautiful woodland of Rushmere Park and Rammamere Heath, providing safe terrain for all ages and abilities.
