Tesco v Morrisons '“ it's all kicking off in Leighton!
Normally they compete to get Leighton Buzzard shoppers into their supermarkets '“ but this month Morrisons and Tesco will be battling it out on the football field.
Staff from the local stores are taking part in a KidsOut charity football match as part of a family fun day on Sunday, August 14 at Leighton Town Football Club’s Bell Close ground (pictured).
The afternoon will start with family activities and games from 3pm to 5pm, including football drills run by Woodside FC.

Hide AdThe football match will then kick off at 5pm, and local band Blues Before Midnight are playing live after that.
A KidsOut spokesman said: “All proceeds are going towards bringing fun and happiness into the lives of local disadvantaged children. It is set to be a real community event.”
