The Emmys, which began in 1955, is one of the biggest award shows in the television industry.
The nominations for the 72nd Emmy Awards have been revealed, with a virtual ceremony hosted by Loni Love and featuring guest stars Lavern Cox (Orange is the New Black) and Tatiana Maslany (Perry Mason) joining Love virtually.

Which TV shows were nominated?
Watchmen led the nomination this year with 26 nominations, including limited series, nominations for both Jeremy Irons and Regina King as leads, and four nominations in the supporting actor/actress category.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel dominated the comedy category with 20 nods, including nominations for comedy series, lead actress in a comedy series (Rachel Brosnahan) and four nominations in the supporting actor/actress categories.

Hide AdSuccession and Ozark drew for third place, bringing in 18 nominations each, and they were followed by Schitt’s Creek and The Mandalorian, with 15 nominations each.
