Ex-Hatters starlet Richens joins Skrill Premier rivals Nuneaton on loan
Skrill Premier rivals Nuneaton Town have signed ex-Luton youth team starlet Michael Richens on a month’s loan from Peterborough United.
Right-back Richens, now 18, was poached by the League One side in 2010 and Posh were later ordered to pay the Hatters ‘significant’ compensation for enticing the youngster away by an FA tribunal, in the form of a five-figure upfront payment along with add-ons throughout his Peterborough career.
Richens made his Boro debut at the weekend as a 62nd-minute substitute in their 2-1 win at Dartford.
