Former Man U and Royal Antwerp man handed trial
MANCHESTER United youth product and former Royal Antwerp midfielder Damien Allen is on trial at Kenilworth Road this week, writes Mark Wood.
The Colwyn Bay captain impressed against the Hatters in Luton’s 1-0 win during their tour to North Wales and Town boss Gary Brabin is keen to take a closer look.
He said: “Damien is going to come into training next week and we will have a closer look.
“He’s a player I’ve known in the past who was a promising young player.
“He struggled with injuries and fell from grace a little bit.”
