Hatters MD Sweet says deal for Swindon Town striker Benson is ‘imminent’

Striker Paul Benson is set to join the Hatters ‘imminently’ according to managing director Gary Sweet, writes Mark Wood.

Last week the Luton News/Dunstable Gazette exclusively confirmed that Luton had made a loan move for the Swindon striker and a deal is nearing completion following ongoing negotiations.

Sweet confirmed: “We are in discussions with Paul Benson and I think that will be completed imminently.”
