Hatters rated v Cheltenham

Dan Gleeson: 5.5 – Exposed early on and will take him quite a few games to get match fit after such a long lay-off.
Keith Keane: 6 – Battled hard in the middle, but lacked the guile to open the Robins up.

Hide AdGeorge Pilkington: 6.5 – Coped well with the point of Cheltenham’s attack, but too much space in front of him.
Alex Lawless: 6 – Looked to get on the ball and kept things ticking, but lacked the impetus to drive the Hatters on.
Danny Crow: 6.5 – Led the line well and did well to make an impression against Cheltenham’s centre-halves.
Robbie Willmott: 6.5 – Started slowly and was well marshalled by Jombati, but grew into the game and O’Connor’s first was largely down to him.

Hide AdAaron O’Connor: 7.5 – Pacey and lively throughout and took both of his goals well.
Jake Howells: 6.5 – Got forward to great effect and was integral to most of Luton’s best moves.
Adam Watkins: 6.5 – Midfielder has a real eye for goal, is actually prepared to let fly and forced the Cheltenham stopper into one really good save.
Janos Kovacs: 7 – Giant Hungarian centre-half is in a rich vein of form.
John Paul Kissock (sub): 6 – Enlivened Luton with his jinking runs and should always at the very least be on the bench to change a game.
