Hatters rated v Wrexham

Lathaniel Rowe-Turner: 7 – Sturdy showing from the full-back back and did all the was asked of him.

Steve McNulty: 7.5 – Grew into the game and battled valiantly against the experienced Adebola as he also saw an effort cleared off the line.

Scott Rendell: 6.5 – Linked play nicely but only had one figure to aim at ahead of him.

Jake Howells: 7 – Young Welshman put in a decent shift, even when he was moved over to the right-hand side.

Simon Ainge: 7.5 – Late replacement did put a foot wrong with an assured and strong display.

Arnaud Mendy: 7.5 – Used his long limbs to break up Wrexham’s play and his simple passing almost always found its target.

Dave Martin: 7 – Direct running unsettled Wrexham but no real end product.

Jonathan Smith: 7 – Plenty of running and got his foot in well, would like to see him involved higher up the field though.

Alex Wall: 7 – Ploughed lone furrow with real application and pace and movement caused Wrexham plenty of problems.

Jake Goodman: 6.5 – Never unduly troubled on a quite afternoon, but got some good blocks in.

Dan Walker (sub): 6.5 – Slightly isolated at times but went close to netting a late with for Luton.

Solomon Taiwo (sub): 6.5 – Showed real promise and quality during his brief debut as he looked to get the ball down an play.
