Massive season ahead for Luton youngster

MUCH is expected from young Hatters midfield starlet Adam Watkins and the self-confessed Luton Town fan admits it is a huge season for him, writes Mark Wood.

Despite being just 19, the dimunitive Watkins has been on the scene for some time, but hasn’t been able to force his way into Luton’s first team.

That now how to be the aim for the teenager, especially as his contract runs out at the end of this season.

He said: “That’s an age where I’ve got to try and kick on.

“I’m still a young player but I can’t be sitting around now.

“It’s the last season before my contract is up and I’ve got to do everything I can to earn a new one.”
