Richards facing lengthy spell on sidelines


The 26-year-old summer signing from Gillingham had been earmarked by manager Paul Buckle to fill one of the central defensive slots this season.
After recovering from a broken leg that ended his Gills career, he made one appearance for Town at St Albans in pre-season, before turning his ankle on the tour of Portugal.
