Shaw sets 20-goal target after strike
A hernia operation followed by a calf niggle has limited his chances this pre-season, but having finally made his debut in Wednesday’s goalless draw at Brackley, it took him just two minutes to open his account against the Os after coming off the bench at half-time.

Hide AdOn his targets for the forthcoming season, the 28-year-old summer signing from Gateshead who netted 35 times last season, said: “I always start with 20 goals. Obviously coming here I don’t feel I’m coming here to be a bit-part player. I feel I’m coming here and I want to be a focal point.
“I want to come here and play and I want to score. But as a forward you set yourself a 20-goal target and if you get to it brilliant and every goal after that is a bonus.”
