But Town chief John Still revealed at today’s (Thursday) press conference that it will not need surgery.

Still confirmed: “It is a metatarsal injury. It’s not going to require surgery.

“Whether between now and the end of the season he’s back we still don’t know, but it doesn’t require surgery.

“He needs some injections and it’s how it recovers really. It would be wrong of me to say he will be back and it would be wrong of me to say he won’t be back.

“But we’ll have to wait and see.”
