With Luton having seen Saturday’s scheduled visit of Woking put back to Monday to be shown live on BT Sport, it will instead give Town’s chief the chance to watch a potential transfer target first hand.

“A bit like a Tuesday, when you don’t play on Tuesdays it gives you the chance to go and watch.
“You know what else it gives you the chance to do? It gives you the chance to sit down and relax and not worry what the score is somewhere else as well!

Town will also take the opportunity to assess some of their opponents for the run-in, which will be made easier with a number of rescheduled games being played between now and the end of the season because of the earlier wet weather.
“We’ll be picking up all of what I call the obviouses between us and the main scouts that we have,” said Still.

“Fortunately, where the weather hasn’t been particularly kind to us for a while, there’s still quite a lot of games still to play on nights when maybe we are not going to be playing and I think we will get a bit of help with that between now and the end of the season.
“And it is nice when I can, or Terry (Harris) can see something ourselves, it’s not always possible, but we have to try and make it possible so I think we’ll get a bit of help with that.”

Still added: “Training Saturday, training Sunday and off to a game Saturday afternoon.
“It is strange when you don’t play believe it or not. I always think as football people you suffer not playing midweek, Tuesday and Wednesday you can suffer.
“I like to play on Saturdays if I’m honest, but we’re not, so that all right.”
