Walker would be welcomed back by Bedford

ATTACKER Dan Walker would be welcomed back at Southern Premier League side Bedford Town according to Bedford boss Ady Hall, writes Mike Simmonds.

Walker was signed by Hatters from the Eagles after impressing for Bedford in a pre-season friendly against Luton in 2010. His Town career has stalled somewhat though, as he has made just 20 appearances, scoring one goal, and is currently sidelined by an injury picked up during a loan spell at Blue Square Bet Premier side Southport.

Hall said: “I stay in contact with Dan. He’s been out on different loans for the last couple of seasons. We have a good relationship with Luton where hopefully if they did want to loan him out and Bedford was an option, they would get in contact bearing in mind they nicked him off us a couple of seasons ago!

“I’m sure they would want to keep him at as high a level as possible though.”
