Chewing over the Oxjam line-up as Toffees star

That’s because the headline gig is Toffees, who play with support at the Royal British Legion Main Performance Hall, West Street on Good Friday (March 25) from 7pm-11pm.

Toffees are a young British rock band formed in Milton Keynes in 2013. Since launch they have toured extensively in the UK. They have been compared to Muse, Kasabian, Hozier and James Bay with strong roots in rock and R&B.

Most recently Piers Nolan (lead singer/guitarist) has been working with Daniel Green (Coldplay producer).

The effects of this can be best heard on such tracks as ‘Grace’ and ‘Fooled Again’ which show the beginning of an evolution within the band.

Toffees are currently receiving lots of FM radio AirPlay and have been interviewed by Vicki McCarthy on MKFM.

Last year they played a variety of festivals all over the UK including Isle of Wight, V-DUB (Pigeon Detectives headlining), and a number of charity fests! Toffees are playing at Mud Fest main stage this year supporting Scouting for Girls.

Easter Sunday, March 27:

The Parish Church Choir of All Saints presents an informal concert from 7.15pm, after the Easter Sunday Choral evensong which starts at 6pm.

Easter Monday, MArch 28:

Folk Tunes session at the Five Bells, Stanbridge.
