2025 Carnival Court selected
At the recent Rotary May Fayre, Carnival held a silent disco where the Carnival Courts for 2025 were selected.
Senior Carnival Princess Beatrix will be accompanied on the Court float on carnival day, 12th July, by Carnival Princess Olivia and Carnival Princess Emily.
The judges on the day, Sian Cummings, Marion Gogan and Stuart Clarke had a hard task talking to the entrants and choosing a trio to represent young people of our community as the 2025 Carnival Court.
Carnival is grateful to Rotary for allowing us to hold the event as part of their May fayre, Totternhoe Scouts for the loan of the marquee, MG Sounds for hosting the disco, Wilde Flowers for the bouquets and Perfect Parties for ballons. On Carnival Day the Court ‘s hair will be done by Texture Road and makeup by Jo Alexandra. Their float will be again provided by S&J Pierce.
As well as being the stars of the Carnival procession, the Court will do the presentations when surpluses from Carnival are distributed to local groups, will take part in the Remembrance Day commemorations in both Leighton and Linslade and are usually part of the stage party for the Town Christmas Light switch on.
