Coronavirus latest: 208 new cases in Central Bedfordshire today

The total number of cases in the district now stands at 10,726 (+208).

The case rate in Central Beds is now 574.7 per 100,000.

Elsewhere in the county, Luton has 13,031 (+223) cases while Bedford's figure is at 8,898 (+179).

There have been 3,118,518 lab-confirmed cases across the UK, up by a daily rise of 46,169.

Due to data issues from Public Health Scotland, today's death data excludes Scotland's figures. 81,960 deaths have been recorded within 28 days of a positive test, up by 529 today.
