Rush over to country park for family fun

There will be three fun filled days for all the family and even the dog at Rushmere Country Park from Friday August 12 to Sunday August 14.

A summer teddy bear’s picnic with craft activities and a woodland trail is designed for children aged from two to eight.

The entrance price of £12.50 per child includes a children’s picnic box themed according to which of the three sessions running that day starting at 10am, noon and 2.30pm.

Following on from the success of last year’s first Concert in the Park, there is more local music talent with Leap of Faith, The Bluebook Project, the band Isabelle and Harry and Naomi on the line-up.

Aimed at all the family, there’ll be a tent with wine, beer and cider and food stalls from local suppliers and fairground attractions - all you need to bring is your own chairs and maybe a torch for leaving the park in the dark.

The weekend concludes with a annual Summer Fayre featuring stalls by local producers, craft activities, fun rides, a games arcade, music performances and dancing by The Shooting Stars Dunstable Majorettes.

Enter your canine friend into our Fun Dog Show – entry costs £2 per dog per category. Prizes in a raffle including a luxury hamper and family tickets to Woburn Abbey and Mead Open Farm.
