Beware, airport roadworks start
Passengers travelling to Luton airport next week need to leave more time to navigate roadworks.
Works are due to start on Tuesday, July 12 from 9.30am until Thursday evening on New Airport Way to treat the carriageway surface to prevent potholes forming.
The main dual carriageway will be affected from Capability Green up to the Percival Way roundabout at the Airport. Lane closures will be in place throughout the works. There will be times when the off and on slip roads from the Capability Business Park to the Airport, and the on slip road to the Business Park will be closed to facilitate the works - this will include periods overnight too. The dedicated bus lane from Luton Parkway Station to the Airport will also be closed for periods of time over the three days to allow for the works and treatment.
