Burglars with metal baton damage Leighton Buzzard property
Police are investigating an aggravated burglary in Leighton Buzzard after two people – one with a metal baton – caused extensive damage to a property.
Officers were called at around 6.45pm on Tuesday, October 27, to a report of two men having entered a property on Plantation Road through the back door.
The burglars then caused damage to kitchen appliances, a TV, and windows.
A Bedfordshire Police spokesman, said: "Both men are described as white; one was around 5ft 9ins and was dressed in black, and the other was 5ft 10ins and was wearing a white t-shirt, dark trousers and what was believed to be a dark coloured metal baton."
Anyone with information is asked to come forward and contact police online, quoting reference 40/63273/26. They are particularly keen to appeal for any CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage.
