Central Linslade Residents Association meeting

The Central Linslade Residents Association is inviting residents to its meeting on Tuesday, February 23.

The meeting is open to everyone and matters to be discussed include local parking, the cycle contraflow in Church Road, town traffic and the state of local pavements.

Graham Quick, chairman of the residents association, said: “There is a real problem with the contraflow system, the cyclists go the opposite way to the drivers, it is an accident waiting to happen.

“Another problem is the parking on Church Road is ridiculous at times and then the cars park half on the pavements, making them very narrow for pedestrians, the pavements are in a bad state as well, there is no care for them.

“The local councillors have been very supportive when we have spoke to them about these problems.

“We are hoping to get some of these problems resolved at the meeting.”

The association meeting is from 8pm, in the back room to the restaurant of The Ship, Wing Road.
