Company supports autism campaign with fundraiser

A company based in Leighton buzzard is supporting a campaign for autism awareness.

JamCrackers’ UK, an IT company which won the Dunstable and Houghton Business Awards for New Business of the Year in 2015, is to host a coffee morning this week.

The company is supporting Autism Bedfordshire, as its local chosen charity.

Autism Awareness week is running until Friday, April 8 and JamCrackers are holding their cuppa and cake morning on Thursday, April 7, from 10am until noon.

A spokesman for the company said: “This has generated a surprisingly huge amount of local support, with many local businesses donating prizes for our raffle.

“We also have the support of the businesses and organisations, who will be attending our event for this great cause”

The supporting businesses include Dunstable and Houghton Business Awards committee. Bedfordshire Chambers of Commerce, Home Instead – handing out goody bags, Autism Bedfordshire, Luton Parent Carer Forum.
