Firefighters called twice to Leighton Buzzard garden as bush fire reignites
Firefighters were called twice to an address in Leighton Buzzard after a bush fire proved tricky to extinguish during the hot weather.
A crew were called to Nelson Road on Friday (July 24) at 10.38am to douse burning shrubs in a rear garden.

But they were called back just over one hour later – putting out the reignited fire and cutting back the shrubbery.
Meanwhile, Bedfordshire councils are also sharing a joint appeal against bonfires as the country experiences exceptionally hot weather.
